Spafford Forest in southern Onondaga County NY. A short hike up from the parking area on Craig Rd; some moderate hill terrain.
Spafford Forest County Park has been my favorite place to hike in my area for the past 27 years(as of 2020),nestled on a hill to the south of Otisco Lake. Private posted land leads to an old hang glider launch over the Otisco Valley. Enjoy the 701 acres of woods and hillside of the public park area and you will discover your own spectacular views!
