Geocache Description:



This is a Flash Mob Gathering of Geocachers

The event is only 15 minutes long!
You MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING the event to claim the find.
Please BYOP! (Bring your own pen)


This event is part of the WWFM III - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events. Thousands of geocachers, at dozens of events all around the globe, gathering at the same time.

The event will begin precisely at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 10th and last exactly 15 minutes. A bucket full of swag and trackables being placed on ground zero will signal the start of the event!!!

Prior to the start time, wander about nonchalantly...then, when the bucket is set down, converge on ground zero!

At 1:00pm the bucket will be placed on the ground at ground zero. Once the bucket has been placed on the ground, all participants arriving at ground zero will receive an event bag containing a log sheet (this log sheet will also be your raffle ticket) and a snack. Don't forget to BRING YOUR OWN PEN! You're welcome to trade swag from the bucket, swap travel bugs or coins from the bucket or with other attendees, or chat and mingle.

At 1:05pm we'll pose for a group photo, then eat our event snack. Afterwards, turn in your signed log sheet to the event organizer as soon as possible.

At 1:10pm we will hold the raffle to determine who gets FTF honors and the FTF will receive an unactivated FTF geocoin.

At precisely 1:15pm, disperse!!! Leave the area without a trace!!! As we are leaving ground zero to return to our cars we ask that you CITO the area.

After the event is officially over, feel free to make plans with other geocachers for lunch/dinner or geocaching in the area.

NOTE: Only participants who submit a signed log sheet will be allowed to log the find. Anyone else who logs a find will have their log deleted. Please log your find as soon as possible after the event so the event organizer can archive the listing in a timely manner.

If any muggles are curious about what just happened, the event organizer has cards to hand out that explain what geocaching is and includes the link to the geocaching.com web site.
