Geocache Description:

This cache is located somewhere in the Bear Lake (Noble County), Indiana area. This should be an easy grab and go cache. During the summer months muggles could be somewhat of a problem.

This cache is located in a public area. The container is small, it once contained beef jerky. Small trading items are included please feel free to take an item and leave one.

In the summer months stop in and enjoy a day at the beach. The beach is open to the public, or you can drop your boat in the water and catch some fish. Bear Lake is a 136-acre lake located about 5 miles south of Wolf Lake Indiana just off State Road 109. The public access is located on the northeast side of the lake. Inboard and outboard motors are allowed, but fishing from a boat isn’t necessary off the shore fishing is allowed as well.
This lake is a non-ski lake with a speed limit of 10 mph.. Fish that you can find in this lake include Bass, Bluegill, Northern Pike, Croppie, and Redear Sunfish.
Bear Lake is surrounded by many homes and a seasonal church camp for kids. If you're ever in the area on a Sunday Morning we also have a Worship Service that begins at 10:00 A.M. at the Bear Lake Church Camp.

We hope that you enjoy the Scenic Bear Lake!
