Geocache Description:

A cache to bring you to this cemetery near Scary, WV.

We stopped by to see this cemetery a while back. We asked someone there what the cemetery was called. We used her answer of "Scary Cemetery" to name this cache.

The cemetery had been badly overgrown for years. Many of the trees were recently cut down--probably for the new construction near the cache. You can see from what's left that the trees were damaging some of the graves and stones in the cemetery. Most of the cemetery was hidden in the woods when we first visited. Now it's open to the sun again.

The container is an orange ammo box originally hidden for about a month as "Queenfish's Holdiday Cache: Halloween" It still has some of the original trade items inside. Trade as you like--no need to stick to a theme. We hope you enjoy the cache and exploring this cemetery.

The cache is not hidden by any of the markers.
