Geocache Description:

Located in Chambers Park near downtown Lufkin.

This is an ammo box woth lots of trade goodies. Be careful of nearby traffic, birthday parties, and hoards of children. You will have to be sneaky to get to this one in the middle of the day or especially weekends. I thought this would be a nice chance to show off the finished work of the Lufkin Landscape Task Force and the restroration work they have recently accomplished in the park. This work included new fences, painting of the buildings, landscaping and cleaning up the old rock house. It is a great old park that used to have a wading pool and even a cage with monkeys! Be sure to check out the old rock house. It was built years ago during the depression.
