Caching not permitted

Dear Stephan!
I feel very sorry that I did not show up for our caching-tour yesterday. It would have been a perfect day to wander into the woods, but I could not get permission from my mother, to come with you.
Although I always try to be a really good child, she was of the cruel kind. It was a battle without any hope of winning it.
I could have howled as a wolf. It was a real catastrophe. I can’t understand why she did this.
We might go caching next weekend, and just for fun, bring your monoski with you!

Poor Joe! But he might search for this mystery cache right now:
12 animals are hidden in his letter (the double ones count only as one). Convert the initial letters of those animals in the usual way (A=1, B=2,…), add them up and multiply the sum by two. Add the result of the multiplication to each of the header coordinates to get the final location, where a little box is waiting for Joe and all the other Geocachers.
Inspired by Mundls „Der Brief“( GC14H3Q), I thought that there should be a puzzle-cache like this in English for our friends from abroad.
