Geocache Description:

Steep hike through varied forest terrain. Cache probably would be findable in winter.

Cache is in a large camouflage-covered jar. Once you arrive at the cache site, you do not need significant muscular strength to find the cache. Please be careful not to move things around at the cache location!

Year-round parking is available either at the entrance to Notchview (an entry fee may be charged there in winter) or at N42 30.413 W073 00.828 (no entry fee).

First-time visitors should download a map of the area from (visit link) . Trails here tend to be well-marked and quite lovely. I recommend you hike back a different way than you hiked in.

The day we placed the cache, we saw fresh tracks of two moose - an adult and a youngster.
