Geocache Description:

A 24 hr Cache just outside Westminster Abbey grounds. A small magnetic keysafe.attached to something black. The Cache carries all relevent marking to comply with resrictions in area. See Picture

"This cache is located within an area frequently patrolled by Police. Please avoid acting suspiciously whilst searching for it, and if challenged, explain about geocaching"

Westminster Abbey is steeped in more than a thousand years of history. Benedictine monks first came to this site in the middle of the tenth century, establishing a tradition of daily worship which continues to this day.

The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place of seventeen monarchs.

There is no need to enter the grounds of the Abbey to achieve a find. Wheelchair accessible.

The log is very small so Name and Date only please. The log is small geocache notice laminated on one side only, sign the other unlaminated side
