Bring A Lunch! Traditional Cache
Let's Look Over Thayer: Came by today and picked up the broken container. Still a nice place for a cache but the time to Bring a Lunch! has come to an end. Thanks everyone for visiting.

Lopez Canyon Overlook is an interesting part of Penasquitos
Preserve that almost no one knows about. In fact, I didn't know
about until last week. You can park very close to the cache from
sunrise to sunset. Night cachers will have to improvise parking a
little further away. Come and visit. And Bring a Lunch!
It was almost exactly two years ago. I was searching for a cache. I
found a cache but it wasn't the cache I was looking for. Instead,
it was another cache that had apparently gone missing two years
before that. The owner had looked for it after several of DNFs and
not found it himself. So he archived it. I found it right where it
should have been. It had never been missing after all. This cache
was the "Got Music?" Lunch Hour Cache (GCGT11) by Bruce Mac. Ever
since then, I've wanted to do a Lunch Hour Cache of my own for all
those who like to grab a midday smiley (umm, that doesn't sound
right does it?) Finally, I found the right place for it.
Please come for the cache and stay for the lunch (and the view.)
And if you want some cache karma points, grab an item of trash --
alas, there are several to choose from --and march it over to the
nearby trash can. As nice as the place is, it could use a little
CITO...
