This cache has been disabled for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since our last contact, I am archiving the cache. If you do happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Geocache Description:

A cache at the historic site of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church near Smuts.

This church was built in 1926 and is still in gorgeous condition. The parish had formed in 1924. The church was consecrated in 1927 by the Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church for the US and Canada. It was designated a historic site in 1976. When hiding this cache we ran into the caretaker. He said that the reason the church is in such good condition is because they bring out residents of Saskatoon's Urban Inmate Camp to help with the upkeep. He told us that they only hold one service a year at the church, followed by a lunch in the nearby hall. Most of the members live in Saskatoon now so it no longer makes sense to run the church out there any longer. They love that people stop to appreciate the beauty and splendor of this old church. You are looking for an ammo can. Please ignore the number in the logbook. It is from an old puzzle cache that no longer exists.
