Geocache Description:


At the above coordinates, you will see two large signs. Previously, we had driven by many times and never even noticed. One day, we decided to stop and take a look.

Each sign has many numbers on it. Starting at the top and moving left to right, place each digit within the sign to a corresponding letter. For example if the sign contains ‘home to 32 bird species and 12 varieties of newts...’ and these are the first numbers on the sign, then A=3, B=2, C=1, D=2, etc. You can stop after completing the alphabet. Use these numbers to get the final coordinates.

The final coordinates are 33° 50.YRY and 084° 15.XHV. The ‘numbers’ of the latitude are from the sign having the flag in the highest position, and the ‘numbers’ of the longitude are from the sign having the flag in the lowest position.

The container can not hold a writing instrument so please bring your own pen. The area can be quite busy at times. If you take along your children, please keep them close. You will not need to cross any roads to get to the final location.

Also, we spent some time cleaning up the area because it had gotten very littered. If you are able, please help to maintain this area.
