Into The Estuary... Traditional Cache
Sir PhilPamAndRob: Owing to the proximity of construction work behind the cache area, and it being exposed and visible to construction workers, I'd decided to archive this cache. The container and holder have now been removed.
Thanks to all the visitors fom home and abroad who have found this cache

Firstly, no need to worry about wading in the River Mersey, this
Estuary is the Estuary Commerce Park at Speke. In December 2007 my
office relocated here from Liverpool City Centre. You’ll be walking
past it on your way to the cache.
Entry to the Estuary Commerce Park is from the roundabout with the
large “pointy thing” on the main Speke Road, but do not drive into
it in your car (though bicycles are welcome), as there is nowhere
to park! Instead park in the “New Mersey Retail Park” on the
opposite side of Speke Road (access from that roundabout). From
here it’s best to walk, but do take care crossing the roads as they
are very busy.
Once inside the Commerce Park you need to walk on the left of the
man-made lake. On the opposite side of the road (to the right of
the “yellow” company) is my office, the middle of the three
buildings - I’ll be watching out for you! There are benches here on
the pontoons to sit and enjoy the surroundings, and we have
resident swans and ducks on the water – today there was even a
heron! If you have children or pets with you, keep hold of them as
there is deep water nearby (as well as the roads). It’s going to be
a lovely place to sit and eat my sandwiches in summer – assuming
the swans don’t come and steal them!
The cache is a little further into the commerce park. Turn left at
the next roundabout “with the flat metal thing” and you’re very
close. Please note that its not attached to the electric box so
don't fiddle with it like Scott (see his log from 27 Sep 08).
Although it’s in an quiet area, check carefully for muggles both on
foot, bicycle and in cars or lorries before retrieving. It’s best
to get the cache and move away to sign the log (bring your own
pen/pencil as it’s a micro) and then return when the way is clear
to replace in its holder.
