Date: 19 September 2008 (Friday)
Time: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Place: Charlottetown Mall (Food Court), 670 University Ave, Charlottetown
Why: Social Fun
"Geocaching is the only activity that requires $12 billion worth of equipment to participate. That's right, one relatively cheap GPS unit, and $12 billion USD worth of satellite systems, and you're ready to play. Luckily, the US government has already footed the bill for the satellite system."

Are you new to caching and a bit baffled by all the possible applications of technology? Or simply old and confused like El Nimrod!?
If your answer is "Yes", why not come to our next Coffee Cache Event in Charlottetown. It's a great chance to meet and socialize with other Island cachers and learn about such things as "going paperless", GSAK and cachemate, running pocket queries and caches along a route, Google Earth, and getting instant notifications on new cache releases to help further your quest for FTFs. Plus, we'll help you brush up on such old standards as projecting way points, converting between different coordinate systems, shooting compass bearings, and much more.
** NOTE: Wireless internet available on-site**
