The Triavna Adventure
The Triavna Adventure is an adventure type cache. That means that in order to complete it, you will have to follow a route in the town of Triavna until you reach your final prize.
Your starting point will be the old Clock Tower in the center of the town.
The Old Clock Tower – Stage 1
Walk to the starting coordinates, given on the page here. They will lead you to the Old Clock Tower in Triavna. Take a look at the top of the clock tower. What object do you see up there?
-If it’s a Bird, go to the Figure at N42 51.875 E25 29.096
-If it’s a Cross, go to the Memorial at N42 51.706 E25 29.578
-If you saw a Lion, go to the Monument at N42 51.978 E25 29.526
Stage 2
As you reach the second stage; you will see two years, written in front of you. What are they?
-If they are 1912-1933 go to the Water at N42 51.926 E25 29.204
-If they’re 1904-1925, go to the Fountain at N42 51.994 E25 29.225
-If the years are 1901-2001, then go to the Riverside at N42 52.011 E25 29.373
Stage 3
Reaching Stage 3; you will find a plate, showing when the structure was created.
-If the year is 1974, then go to the 4 Road Crossing at N42 51.914 E25 29.443
-If it is 1983, go to the Stone wall at N42 51.866 E25 29.444
-If it’s 1999, then head to the Bridge at N42 51.976 E25 29.351
Stage 4
As you reach Stage 4; look around. You will be able to spot a number, written in black somewhere around you.
-If it reads PT 221, then go to the Forest Gate at N42 51.662 E25 29.253
-If it is PT 512, go to the Woods Building at N42 51.770 E25 29.310
-If it reads PT 774, run to the Trail at N42 51.851 E25 29.442
Stage 5
As you reach stage 5, look around.
-If you are on a natural forest path, go to the Inn at N42 51.898 E25 29.129 (This is the best Inn in town!)
-If you are on a paved road, go to the Museum at N42 51.981 E25 29.387 (Triavna has a great museum!)
-If you are on a staircase, go to the Villa at N42 51.760 E25 29.393 (The Villa is an amazing place to stay!)
Stage 6
-Ah! Finally! The last stage! At stage 6, go to the main gate of the building and observe the number of stairs leading to the entrance.
-If they are 5, go to N42 51.529 E25 29.291
-If 10, go to N42 52.386 E25 29.833
-If there are no stairs at all, go to N42 51.675 E25 29.578
At the given coordinates; assuming that you have followed all the stages properly; you will be rewarded with a semi-big box; full of surprises. An FTF prize is included; indeed!
Of course; you can also check manually all of the three final coordinates; and find the cache anyways. I have intentionally left this as an option – use it if you can’t proceed past any of the stages. But bear in mind that in general they are all fairly easy and will reward you with a better walk in Triavna compared to the one you’ll have to complete if you try to check all stages manually (unless you are lucky to hit the cache from the first try) ;)
