Geocache Description:

Place of Honor is located at the Veteran's Memorial Park. Dedicated in 1986, the park was dedicated to our veteran's who served and died for our country in war and peace.

The bell placed under the roof is a replica of the Liberty Bell.

In April of 2008, Oma & Opa G place the cache here. They lived here during the reconstruction of the 8th Street Bridges and dedicated much of their time to geocaching. They decided it was their turn to put out a cache and this is the result.

Bring a writing utensil to sign the logbook. There is room in the container for small TB's and Geocoins. Hint Hint!

The small black painted container hidden behide a small rock is not a Geocache. The container is a Letterbox. Letterboxing is a "treasure hunt" style outdoor quest combining navigational skills and rubber stamp artistry.

Congratulations to MountainShadow for being the FTF the cache!
