Geocache Description:

Onalaska Park and Recreation is hiding caches in most of its parks this spring to get people out to enjoy them all. This site was originally acquired through a private donation and purchase that totaled five (5) acres. The remaining land was provided through the land dedication requirements form a development to the west and south. This site is currently heavily forested with red pines planed over twenty years ago. This park includes play equipment, an open air shelter, open play area, paved park trail, basketball court area and natural areas. This site may also serve as an additional access point to the La Crosse River Conservancy Project.
