Geocache Description:

We own this land so all y'all cachers are welcome here!!!

I may be a Californian living in Canada, but my roots run deep in Mississippi! I've got relatives spread far and wide in this beautiful state and many of them live not too far from the cache site. I spent many a summer here when I was a kid and have fond memories of finding turtles, swimming in creeks and fishing at my cousin Ralph's camp on Red Creek. I've gotta say that the water moccasin's didn't do much for me though! I remember the day that I caught a moccasin on my fishing line and my grandmother took it out with her rifle. Oh yes, those were the days!!!

UPDATE JANUARY 2013 - I meant to bring some Canadian trinkets down with me but completely forgot this time. I have, however, dried out the cache and added some Ziplock bags and a new log sheet. I have also left some Canadian coins to trade. Enjoy and thanks for visiting!

When searching for the cache, please make sure that you stay within the property boundaries which are marked by the two electrical poles at the road. This shouldn't be a problem as I have placed it well onto our land. We don't want to disturb the neighbors now do we? If you follow the "trail" that some nice folks have carved out with their ATV's off to the west of the property you should be fine. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLOSE THE CACHE PROPERLY SO THAT NO WATER GETS IN. I'm not down here very often and I hate to ask the kin folk to keep running over to the cache to dry it out... Ha.

Should anyone question why you are on the land, tell them that the owners have given you permission to be there. You can even show them the cache page if you like. Cache is a 4" PVC pipe covered in Cammoflage Duct Tape and a screw-top.
