Geocache Description:

Clever but not difficult.

This is a quick two-part geocache.

George Preston is hands-down the most notorious “hanging judge” in Arizona Territory. He is reported to have said, “Dead men got no grounds for appeal.” Defendants were advised to fire their lawyers and get a priest. “He’s more likely to save yer soul, and he don’t cost nothing.” Many men picked up by Marshall Stein looked guilty enough to save the State the cost of a trial. “We done quick justice and nobody never heard of ‘em again.”

Approach this cache with care. The courtroom is in view. Even big Joe may be watching for you.

The only break we cut you is “get out of jail free for travel bugs.” The container is large; about gallon size. Please park off the road.
