Geocache Description:

The Blythswood Light

A pleasant walk around the fringes of Renfrew Golf Club to your destination.

The Blythswood Light is a lovely???? shade of green and stands 35FT in height.

It's light flashes green every 2 seconds and has a range of 8 nautical miles.

The light was established in 1905 and the present tower that you see was built in 1921.

This light is operational and it's current use is as an
active aid to navigation along the river clyde.

Its recommended that you start your walk from the front of the normandy hotel where you will find the pathway as this will give you the chance to see the convergence of the white and black cart water and also various
wildlife.

The cache is in a small lock lock container and was stocked with the usual type of trinklets when we left it.
