River Walk Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

A nice walk down to the Connecticut River on marked trails. If you park at the bottom near the gate it is a 1.76 mile round trip walk. We don't know how far of a walk it is if you park at the top of Poet's Seat and walk down.
We parked at the bottom near the gate and took the Red trail down. The red trail starts to the right of the gate when facing the gate. You will need to leave the red trail and pick up the orange trail at N42* 35.787 W072* 35.022. The Orange trail will take you to the waters edge where the hunt for the cache begins.
We passed four mountain bikers on the way to the cache and one mountain biker on the way back to the car so you could bike the trails if you choose.
We saw A LOT of bees down by the waters edge so if your allergic to bees beware, they were coming out of the ground and trees!
The cache is a micro so make sure you bring a pen!!
After finding our cache check out the other two caches at Poet's Seat Tower: Poet's Vista (GCH39J) and Poet's Seat Tower (GCGBF8
