Geocache Description:

This tribute cache is a small lock & lock container hidden along a trail in Windhoek

I placed this cache in tribute to Namibia's #1 cacher, Nam Gecko. I have only met him a couple of times but he is an interesting character and I look forward to future caching opportunities together. He is responsible to hiding (and likely finding) the bulk of Namibia's caches. These caches have provided hours of interesting hikes and drives for me in recent years. So here's to you my friend.

The cache itself is found along the Aloe Trail up past the botanical gardens. There is parking available at the tail head. The cache itself is located somewhere I think any nam gecko would enjoy.
