Geocache Description:

The size of the reservoir on the map is the maximum it can get. It is not nearly that big.

This easy to find Cache is on a well-established gravel trail. Bicycle friendly. The property; (Conant Brook Dam) is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers and is in the town of Monson at the end of East Hill Rd. There is easy parking at N 42° 4.713 W 72° 17.269 and the trail heads generally East. The overall round trip is just under a mile. The Cache is located a little bit off to one side of the trail and no bush whacking is required.

Warning: This is a flood control area. If the National Weather Service puts out flood warnings it may be better to come back another time. The water has never got this high that I know of but that is not to say it can't.

Hunting season is comming up this fall. Please wear Blaze Orange.
