Geocache Description:

Should be a relatively easy find for most cachers, but that is where the adventure begins....

This is another installment in the Bend Open Area Series. For this geocache, you are simply looking to solve for the last three digits of both the north and west coordinates.

Many times we are inspired by the creativity of other cachers. There is a mystery cache by Cycling Fool “My Therapy Session.” It contains a very interesting narrative, though I can not figure out the solution quite yet. Well, to each their own, and I enjoy a different kind of therapy. Read the story below, everything you need to solve the puzzle is contained within it. Please do not judge me, because of my actions. Thank you and good luck.

----------------------------------My Kind of Therapy by fanugler-------------------------------------------

The other night a few friends and I got together to share some stories and play a little poker. Perhaps a “Pepsi Light” or two was consumed as well. We play a unique style of 4 card poker where the first two cards are dealt face up while the last two are dealt face down. It is a game we call Rumbleberry, dont bother looking it up, we created it for our get togethers. Towards the end of our game we had a pretty heated hand. It started with me as the dealer. The first to get a card was Norskietrolls with a nine of hearts. The rest of the hands were a ten of diamonds, king of spades, king of clubs, queen of hearts, Big Daddy2 received an ace of diamonds, and then out came a two of spades.

A short round of betting occurred with the duo of Lotus & Meowdoc starting the domino effect by raising a quarter. (Did I mention we only played with change?) That bet was called four times before being raised. It was then raised by another dime by SOCCERBOB, who slammed his coin down and began to sing London Bridge is falling down. That took us all by surprise, so we simply called his bet.

I sent a new round of cards to everyone still in. Which for some reason triggered Norskietrolls go into a rant about his college thesis about the Route of the Hyperspace Bypass. When he concluded, we all had a dumbfounded look upon our face and the betting came to a bit of a stall. Thankfully, Hooda Thunk broke the silence by summing up his rant by saying the bypass was one of History’s Mystery. He was eager to raise the pot but had to wait for the two players proceeding him.

Hooda Thunk threw in fifty cents, which was quickly called. Big Daddy2 seems to have an eagle eyes view of everyone playing the game and know what is constantly going on. He really seemed proud of the pair he had showing. I simply called and so did the subsequent players. I was feeling pretty confident with two suited cards.

The next round of cards went by pretty quietly with only a small raise of five cents being called by everyone. As I dealt the last round of cards, everyone had their best “poker faces” on, and were extremely hard to read. That was until betting was opened up. It started with the duo checking, then Ttepee slammed his hand down screamin “This is for my town USA” and revealed a whopping 75 cent raise. Hmmmm he must have something good. HoodaThunk quickly folded, the next player folded and so did I. The remaining three players called and showed their cards, there was a great gasp that went out, then the winner collected their earnings…….

Your job is to figure out who was sitting where and who won the game. Remember, we each get therapy in different ways. Good luck, and don’t forget to grab your clue to the final of the series.
