Geocache Description:

The FTF that wasn't



I placed this cache while on a hike to The Independence Shaft cache nearby.

The container for this cache was supplied by Baldin' Eagle.  He'd placed it a little over a mile away from this spot, but
had the misfortune of placing it about 30 feet from another new cache that got published before his did.  That's all well and good, but I had the misfortune of finding it, thinking I'd gotten the First to Find on that other one.  By the time I discovered the mistake, it was too late. I ran out there again the following day to find the actual cache, but in the meantime Mad Marauder had already been there and found it.

At Baldin' Eagle's request, I picked up his cache and I've placed it again...exactly as it was, so you'll see my bogus FTF log still in the log book.



Enjoy the cache, and after you find it, celebrate like Sam.
