Geocache Description:

YOU MAY NEED A RETRIEVAL TOOL FOR THIS ONE.

Oh, El Dorado County, the home of many, many, many beautiful evergreen trees – so why do we need to ‘plant’ these artificial ones? We are sure a cacher engineered these communications installations, with a use of major caching skills, since most muggles drive right by them daily and have never seen them for what they really are. But, we can bet that now you’ve seen one, you will start noticing them everywhere. There is even a palm version on the side of the freeway in San Bernardino.

NEWSFLASH: Our roving botanical correspondents, pirates2+2, have provided us with the following technical discussion regarding this unusual form of flora:

“These trees, known botanically, as Cellaphoniphonius Psuedopinus have made a comeback in the last decade thanks to Fish and games restocking of Ratracia Commuterus Talksalotta.Psuedopinus is totally parasitic and feeds on the brainwaves of the talksalotta its favorite of which is the variety "Bluetooth".A good supply of Bluetooths can be found near freeways and collect in large schools during rush hours. This is a banquet for psuedopinus and under these conditions it can reach up to 160 feet in height. The psuedopinus has very few pests, but one odd one is the Sunfadius Blight which causes the psuedopinus to fade to blue. This brings on a transformation in the psuedopinus and it changes into Psuedopicea Glauca. After this transformation it is soon to migrate to Colorado and retire. The only mortal enemy of psuedopinus is mating season. If a psuedopinus fails to mate during the relicensing season, it will soon die and fade away.” Thanks pirates2+2 for the wonderful explanation!

Look to the west for the namesake tree, down the cleared power line easement. The multitude of power lines in the area caused us to get many varied readings. We went with our best average, please see the clue for additional info to get you to GZ. You probably will need an extraction tool to assist with cache retrieval. Stealth will be needed since you could be watched from the nearby restaurants, especially on nice evenings.

PLEASE REPLACE EXACTLY, taking note of the direction (as it relates to the area water could get into) IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED!.

Gift for FTF.
