Geocache Description:

Arriving from Atkinson Road entering HILLER PARK, please adhere to the speed limit. Turn right on Hiller Drive, and past the tennis courts turn right on Egers Road to arrive at the far side of the “duck pond”. (On 7/15/08 changed container to ammo box.) Though not deep in the woods, but with a bit of ground debris, it is located a couple hundred feet away from the road, with easy walking to a place with vines as a canopy.

Let the kid in you come out to play, slow down, breath in, and find those water fowl to Quack Back. (Surely you remember talking to the ducks. Do it again and feel the joy.) I have spent several months planning this journey for you to meet the ducks and have even informed them of your upcoming visit. Skeeters are definitely present. Please replace cammo as found to preserve hide.

Entering the park, look to your left where locals fish and a boat launch is near by. In the early morning, it is not unusual to see fish surfacing or long skinny legged birds watching or wading. You might even spot an alligator in the shallows. In the clearing to the right is a favorite spot for ducks of all varieties and geese. Far to the left is Back Bay where one can observe the Popps Ferry draw bridge, tugs with coal barges, local boats, and another place to wet your hook. The park offers a play ground and a variety of picnic areas and ball courts/fields.
