Geocache Description:

The start of a new series of caches.

This is the first in my series of pointless roads. Being an HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) tech it gives me a chance to drive all over town and I started to notice several roads around the Richmond area that just have absolutely no point or at least that I can tell. Most of these roads I couldn't help but to think 'Man that would be a great place for a cache' and yet there are none. So thus the new series is born. This is the first in the series being it is the closest to my house and upkeep and maintenance will be easy. There will be more to come in the near future. I rated this a 2.5 Difficulty because the average cache hunter would be able to find this in less than 30 minutes of hunting but if you don’t have a keen eye you might miss it. The terrain is a 2 because there might be a little bushwhacking involved depending on the approach of attack. This cache is suitable for small children. The road it is on might maybe get one car down it on a daily basis just from someone being curious as I was at one point in time, so then there should be no problem parking anywhere along the road. The cache is in between this road and a major road that can be pretty heavy with traffic but there shouldn't be any reason to venture close to the major road. If you plan on searching for this cache in the warm months of the year near sunset or sunrise I recommend the bug spray. Mid-day or night I haven’t noticed a heavy bug problem.
