The Invisible Woodpecker Traditional Cache
Westswozere: I am no longer in this region and it is the sort of cache that requires maintenance...
However, this is a biodegradable cache by construction so will cause no harm where it lies :)

The trail follows a well signposted route which, from Nunney, runs alongside a small river with crossings at some points. The path can get very muddy and a little narrow in some places and therefore is not suitable for buggies or bikes.
Alternatively, you can approach from the other end of the path and run the gauntlet with a very friendly dog.
The cache is a 35mm film cannister hidden just off the path - you won't need to go into the nearby field to retrieve it.
The name for this cache comes from the fact that whilst we were having our luch at the cache site, we could hear a woodpecker in various trees around us but we couldn't see it. So, it must have been invisible!
We like to do this walk from Nunney, along the river and back through the open fields above the river. All on signposted paths.
I guarantee that this cache is unique.
Hope you enjoy it.
