Geocache Description:

This was once the site of a thriving church and a body of worshippers,as well as a nearby tavern and village. The community was located in Talbot County on one of the most important county roads of the 18th century. It was built on what became a favorite route of sailors traveling between the two ports of Oxford and Dover. The church was known as Whitemarsh "burned in 1892",and the tavern, only a few yards away, was called "Hole in the Wall".
