The cache is located on a center line of two tangent circles of radius 3000ft and 2000ft. Two lines tangent to both circles cross at the cache location. See the attached picture for a description of the problem. The reference waypoint REF01 is the center of the 3000ft circle. All dimensions are in feet. To solve this problems I used the Law of Cosines and the Law of Sines was well as this site. I will rate this cache a difficulty 5 because of the additional calculations that I had to do. If you find an easier way to solve this please send me your solution. Have fun.
