Oak Creek Special Traditional Cache
Fritzi: Sadly, this container is missing. When I went to check on it this morning I noticed the sign in front of the restaurant said "SOLD". Considering I don't know how the new owners would feel about a cache on their property I'm going to archive this one. At least for now...

Hidden on private property with owner’s permission. Plenty of parking!!
Years ago, this place was a road-house style bar. It was only open on the weekends, but they featured a lot of local bands playing live music. They had the only rotating bar I’ve ever seen. Yes, rotating. The bar was round and the entire thing would slowly turn, making a full revolution in about an hour. My mother worked here as a bartender for years, and quite often a patron who’d had too much to drink would stagger off to the bathroom and then not be able to find their seat when they returned. Occasionally a fight would even break out when the returnee would accuse someone of taking their bar stool.
I'm sad to report that Oak Creek is now closed. I haven't been able to contact the owner to see what's going on, but I have to assume the restaurant is unavailable until further notice. A shame really, its close to home and we've really enjoyed spending time here. I'm hoping they'll re-open. We spent many a Friday or Saturday evening here in the summertime, enjoying a leisurely meal on their outside deck. I listed the difficulty as 2 only because the nature of the geography here makes it hard to get a really good signal. Please don’t hesitate to ask for a hint.
