Geocachers in the Bay Area are wild about walkways. There are over a dozen 'walkway type hides' in Sunnyvale and surrounding cities. I think they are pretty cool. I am particularly fond of this one because it leads to Nimitz Elementary school, where I went to school as a kid. Happy caching and enjoy the walkway.

EXTRA CREDIT: Do all the local walkway cache hides. See my public bookmark list called, 'Wild About Walkways'.

BONUS POINTS: For bonus points, go check out the old anchor in front of Nimitz Elementary school, on non-school hours of course. It has been there since 1962. Was donated to the school from the US Navy in honor of Chester W Nimitz. Log your visit at www.Waymarking.com. Waymark Code: WM21QX. Note: You must also post a photo of the anchor, in order to log your waymark visit, so bring your camera.
