On the walk up the path from the
main road, just past the farm on the right hand side are the
remains of a motte and bailey. According to our map there is a well
within the boundaries of the motte. Unfortunately it is all fenced
off so we couldn't have a proper look.
Whilst at the trig we spotted
several large hares darting about all over the place.
There are stunning views from the
cache location, and a very handy place to sit, so if it's a fine
day it would be well worth taking some refreshments with
you.
