We spend quite a few days out on the trails bird watching. This park is great for a wide variety. Some of the birds we observed while placing the cache include a Pileated Woodpecker, Scarlet Tanager, Indigo Bunting, Oriole, Yellow Warbler, and Ruby Throated Hummingbird. Enjoy the wildlife on your adventure to find the cache.
This cache is located within Wolcott Mills Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. The park hours are as follows: CLOSED EVERY MONDAY AND TUESDAY JAN & FEB. :OPEN FRI., SAT., AND SUN.
MARCH: OPEN THURS., FRI., SAT., AND SUN.
APRIL THRU DEC.: OPEN: WED. THRU SUNDAY
DAILY HOURS ARE STILL 9AM-5PM.
Dogs are permitted on a 6 foot leash. No dogs permitted in any buildings. The Metropark may be closed on certain days for deer management programs typically in the fall; please call ahead for closure information on the day of your visit.
