No that's not in honor of Mad Dog, that's in honor of Madame Dubois. Every year a group of friends gather for a picnic at the Clay Gully pavilion at the park. It was dubbed the Madame Dubois picnic somehow and so I decided to place a cache in honor of our annual picnic. This is a full sized lock-n-lock container pre-stocked with your standard trade items. The cache is hidden off of an unofficial trail that runs adjacent to the river just east of the pavilion. Happy Hunting!
Please, Please do not put any toys that were obtained from "Happy Meals" as this cache appears to have been vandalized by critters twice. The critters may be attracted to the smell from the cache.
Note: There is an access fee to enter Myakka State Park.
