Zrúcaniny hradu Bodon sa nachádzajú v hlbokých lesoch nad Sigordom v nadmorskej výške 868 m. Bol postavený po tatárskom vpáde do Uhorska. Je situovaný na obrovskom andezitovom brale a pomenovanie dostal od majitela Boduna, ktorý pravdepodobne pochádzal z rodu Abovcov. Kedže vrchol lesa má podobu makovice, nazývajú ho aj Makovický hrad.
Bodon je aj oblúbeným miestom skalolezcov. Majú tu desiatky precízne vyznacených a dobre odistených ciest rôznych nárocností. Samozrejme, škriabat sa na skaly bez výstroja a patricných návykov je hazardom.

The ruins of castle Bodon are situated in deep forests above Sigord 868 m above sea level. It was built after Tartarian incrusion into Hungary. It is situated on top of massive andesite cliff and it had got its name from its owner Bodun whom was probably a descend of Abov clan. Because the shape of the top of the forest looks like poppy head (makovica in slovak) it is also called castle Makovica.
Bodon is also popular place for climbers. There are tens well-marked and well-protected climbing paths with different levels of difficulty.Of course, climbing of the rocks without gear and training is hazardous.
