Geocache Description:

This pretty wood is a hidden gem full of bluebells in a surprising location adjacent to the Mackley Industrial Estate.

The wood is situated In Small Dole, a village near Henfield in West Sussex, off the A2037. The reserve is just south of Woods Mill (Sussex Wildlife Trust HQ). It is signposted from the main road that runs through Small Dole.

The wood is maintained by the Tottington Woodlanders and the cache is hidden underneath the oak which is used as their logo and symbol of the wood. They have an excellent virtual woodland tour on their website (visit link)

The cache is hidden beside the footpath so there is no need for trampling the wildflowers!
