Geocache Description:

We didn't intend to hide a cache on this day but the beautiful weather, the awesome hike, incredible views, and a little luck in finding a cache container changed our minds.

We only intended to do a quick climb to the top of Bousquet, but then we found a trail that we hadn't walked before and before you know it we were on top of Lenox Mountain.

The round trip is about 4.8 miles and the toughest part (I think) is the steep uphill of Bousquet. Once you get to the top the trail is well marked (in pink) and nice and wide.

You're looking for a full sized Stanley Thermos that we found along the way, that was once filled with rotten coffee, but now holds an impromptu log (no complaining, just sign it) and a pretty yellow feather that Cutie picked up along the way. Oh yeah, and unlike many of my other caches, this one HAS a pen.
