Geocache Description:

Happy Mother's Day! This is an ammo can that contains small, micro, and nano caches to be placed by the finder in a new place. The main cache is called Mama Bird and is full of little "Baby Birds".

We hid this cache for our mom as a Mother's Day gift she could share with all of the geocachers, both local and visiting.

This walking & biking trail runs alongside Bridges Street Extension in Morehead City. You can park at the parking coordinates provided and walk a short ways along the path to the cache location.

A large ammo can, this cache contains ready to hide small micro and nano caches. Please take one and hide it near your home coordinates. They all have logs and some type of mechanism to attach them (magnets, hooks etc) to stuff. The smalls have swag in them as well.

You can take a cache and leave whatever trade items you want. There is plenty of room in the cache for travel bugs and geocoins too. IF YOU TAKE OR LEAVE SWAG OTHER THAN A CACHE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT OUT OF THE SMALLER CACHES. PLEASE TAKE FROM AND LEAVE IN THE ZIPLOC THAT CONTAINS THE MAMA BIRD LOG BOOK!

Please only take a "Baby Bird" (cache) from the nest if you are planning to find it a new home. Hiding a cache is not a requirement to log a find here, but please don't take one if you don't want to hide it.

When you hide your "Baby Bird" please let us know when it is published. We would like to know where the babies are and find as many of them as we can.

Please let me know if the nest is getting low on "Baby Birds" and I will drop off some more.
