This cache was placed for the NoVAGO Spring Fling - Redux Event
GC1BHNG.
A 2 stage multi-cache placed in Algonkian Regional Park, Loudoun
County, Virginia. The park is managed by the Northern Virginia
Regional Park Authority (NVRPA). Containers are
“different”, one is slightly hidden, the other is in
plain view...you do not need to move much of anything, or tear up
the landscape to find them. Bring a writing instrument...you'll
need it to write down the coordinates you'll find in Stage 1, and
to both sign the log, and write down coordinates you'll find in the
final stage.
PLEASE NOTE: The second/final stage contains the coordinates for
a Bonus cache named “Robin‘s Nest”, please
do not pass those coordinates to other cachers...let them earn
their Bonus.
PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: The “Robin’s Nest”
coordinates are at the top of the log in the second/final
container. It’s not necessary nor desirable to move the
second/final stage container from its location, you can access the
log by unscrewing the container at the rear.
There are numerous approaches to the stages of this cache: some
are dry, some are wet, all require a little bushwhacking!! I logged
over 3 miles placing the containers, but there is another approach
that could lessen that distance to just a little over 1 mile.
Park hours are dawn to dusk, do NOT hunt this or the
Bonus cache at night.
