Assumption Cemetery has rolling terrain with paved roads throughout. Sign on the fence at the entrance to the cemetery that has a dog in a circle with a red slash through it that could be interpreted as "Please don't hit the dogs who are being walked through the cemetery with your car", but most likely it means no dogs allowed. The cemetery states that it closes at 7:00 pm so night caching is not allowed.
One of my favorite places to cache are cemeteries. They are so peaceful and quiet, and I always get a real sense of presence and power whenever I visit one.
It is only fitting that my first cache be in such a place.
The cache is a sandwich sized lock-n-lock container that contains log book, small trade items, and another first for me, my own travel bug that I hope will see the world. Help this guy/gal find what he/she's lacking. Please be respectful when in this cemetery and in all cemeteries and Cache in Trash is highly encouraged. Parking is available at the cache site.
Good luck.
Congratulations go to Team Senegals who were First to Find.
