Geocache Description:

Welcome to another of my Tour the NNK caches!

This cache is unavailable on Mondays until the end of January. The area is closed for managed water-fowl hunts on Mondays.


There used to be a cache out here but it was archived a long time ago. This is a beautiful wildlife preserve with a nature trail that leads down to a Chesapeake Bay Beach. There's a beautiful overlook at the end of the trail.

The bugs (deer flies and mosquitos) can be brutal here during the summer so insect repelent is recommended. For deer flies, I've heard that a dryer sheet hung from the back of ones hat might work but I can't swear by that.

The cache is in its third location now and the container has been replaced with an ammo can. The cache requires NO BUSHWACKING to find! It is less than 1' off the trail!

I averaged the location but the best lock that I could get was about 12'. This should get you close enough to find the cache in the most obvious cache-type location.
