Geocache Description:

Right alongside Highway 50 is this well constructed, but "forgotten" bridge. We'll leave it to the caching "historians" to tell us what it was, but we thought it might be part of the old Lincoln Highway.

I decided to call this the "Forgotten" bridge because it's obviously a part of history, but we also forgot to bring a cache to place every time we were caching in the area.

The cache is located between Mile 39 and Mile 40. There are two access points, one on each end of the old bridge, so you can enter and exit Highway 50 safely. Please use caution, however, when you do, especially when traffic is heavy.

The cache is a cammoed lock-n-lock container. It is placed under cover and should be accessible most of the year. Take the Pony Express (XP) trail directly to the cache.
