We got new kayaks so of course that means that a new boating/caching series needed to be created. There are already plenty of caches in the area but we thought we'd give you another reason to come out here.
THIS IS A BOAT-IN CACHE!!
THIS IS SNAKE COUNTRY!! Bring a stick and use it to poke around the nooks and crannies.
Cache is a small camouflaged Flip n' Lock. It's about 165 feet from the shoreline to the cache (at today's water level, which is really low). I don't think that the cache is ever in danger of being underwater though. There's a decent spot to beach (again, at today's water level)
It was a busy weekend for us so the cache only contains the essentials; a log and a pencil.
