Machida Arch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

aneles: Unfortunately, the cache point has been completely destroyed by construction, and the cache is lost.

This area will be under construction for several months, so I think it's best to archive this cache.

Thanks for watching and thanks for visiting!

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden near the Machida Arch near JR Machida Station on the Yokohama line. Please take the terminal exit from the station to find the plaza.

The arch was designed by Kisho Kurokawa, who also designed the National Art Center of Tokyo in Roppongi. Musicians and dancers can sometimes be seen busking here. Grab a tapioca/boba tea at Tea Rose, pick up some cheap frivolous girls' clothes at Jam Pixy (down the stairs to the NE) or shop at the five-story \100 store, DAISO. There are also many big department stores in this area.

There is a sign in this plaza pointing to the Machida Graphic Arts Museum, where Abruptio's "Big Seesaw" cache is hidden.

The cache is a tupperware container measuring 11X13 cm. It's painted green. There is a logbook, pencil, and several trade items inside. Please be very careful, as this is a highly muggled area!
