Near the top of Horselake Mountain
Cache is named after two of our grandkids, Lazarus and Wyatt who are Motorcycle Man and Green Grasshopper when we are out geocaching.
Park at the gate up No. 2 Canyon where the FS Road bends sharply uphill. A car can make it to this point if driven carefully over the very rocky and bumpy road. Walk around the gate and then approx 3.5 miles following the road to the easternmost top of Horselake Mountain.
There are alternative ways to access the area if you ride a motorcycle.
There is a logbook and some trade items, mostly for kids.
Horselake Mountain, 4589' is very close in altitude to another of our caches on Eagle Rock, 4530'. When viewed across the space between they look pretty close in height.
