An easy walk with the cache just off the path, but NO bushwacking involved. There's a nice walking path alongside the athletic fields and through the woods surrounding. While placing the cache we saw a herd of deer. Be sure to check out the lake behind, with evidence of busy beavers.
The sign says the park is open April thru October, dawn to dusk. You'll find a picnic area and playground and I saw Restrooms at the main building.
The cache is one of Tom's seed pod-lings and in keeping with that idea, there's a new Bison cache with log for FTF and a couple other small things. Enjoy our first hide!
