You are in a very rural
area. This cache is in memory and dedication to all those
in the Police/Fire/EMS services which we all are proud of. Many
years ago I watched a series called Emergency which on its own
spurred the interest of many people who now have been dedicated in
these services. We also want to memorialize and dedicate this cache
to those souls who have fallen in the line of duty. I want to give
them my gratitude of thanks. This cache is called “Remember
Emergency?” This multi-cache will start you on its quest.
The cache is not at the initial set of coordinates.
At the first set of coordinates you
will see a theme related location.
There is a red box with a word on
it.
Take each letter of the word and
replace it with its number location from the alphabet (a=1, b=2
etc).
Add these numbers together. This
will equal AA
There is a pole nearby with a number
on it, this will equal BBB.
NOTE:Pole has
multiple numbers, the pole number is the 3 digit number above the
1977.
Latitude is equal to N 45 18.CCC
where CCC=AA+BBB+20
Next to the pole is a green
communication box.
On the side of the box is a LARGE
black sign with yellow letters and numbers in 2 rows (4 to each
row).
If the row has a letter, convert that
letter to a number as done with the red box letters.
Row 1 has 1 letter and 3 numbers and
equals EE.
Row 2 has 2 letters and 2 numbers
and equals FF.
Add all these numbers in the row to
get your number.
Longitude is equal to W 122 16.DDD
where DDD=EE+FF+796
Therefore the waypoint for the final
cache is:
N 45 18.CCC W 122
16.DDD
Near your final location there is
plenty of parking along the road but be careful of the
traffic.
You should have no problem in
figuring out where the cache is.
You are looking for a regular size
cache.
This cache may contain a travel
bug.
We loaded this cache with lots of
goodies.
FTF will have some nice things to
pick from such as a DVD of Emergency from Season 2 (has 8
episodes).
If you have any Police/Fire/EMS
memorabilia to leave in the cache for others would be
great.
men are there to protect, guard and
rescue us. This geocache is to honor them.
Support this mission by taking this
