This cache is located at a turnout off of Wyoming Highway 220 in central Wyoming where you can stop and enjoy the scenery, off of the roadway. To the south is Ferris Mountain, a majestic mountain range which everybody should stop and spend some time enjoying and perhaps taking pictures of. To the northeast, is the area known as Martin's Cove, an historic area where many pioneers lost their lives on their way west to the riches beyond. A couple miles to the east is the Mormon handcart and Martin's Cove historic area where one can stop and learn of the sacrifices made here. There are many things you can participate in, including actually taking a replica handcart to the Cove. It is well worth the time spent learning the history and participating in the activities. The people who will greet you are very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help you learn about the events that took place here. Enjoy your stop along this highway!
