This is a cache made by a kid, for kids, but adults are welcome! It is a short drive off the highway.
A large, easy to find but well stocked cache for kids. However, as usual, please watch for snakes and spiders.
There is no need to enter private property to find the cache. Balmattum has a tight knit community and your presence will be noticed by passers by.
This track has it's own history. It was formed in the mid 1800s by repetitive use of horse and dray. Some of the land in Balmattum is still farmed by the descendants of those who selected the land around the 1850-60s.
